If I trust you...
If I trust you, do not take advantage of my generosity.
For I do not have to give you a thing.
I chose to give you my trust, my hope, and my belief.
So do not lie or hurt me, do not backstabbing me, do not deceive me,
Cause if you do, my trust will be forever lost.
No longer will it belong to you.
By chance if, I ever gave it back, you'd gave to earn it again,
And I would remain cautious of you.
So remember this, if I trust you, do not take advantage of my generosity.
I Understand what you're saying.
I've also gone through things that have caused me not to trust just anyone, anymore. When I was younger, I would go up to complete strangers and start talking. (Super Dangerous and Scary!!!) But now that I've gotten older, I do not trust just anyone anymore. I take caution, and I have gotten sort of paranoid now. I lock the door every single night, and every morning when we leave the house for school, or what ever we are leaving for.
I would never take advantage of you, or your generosity =) And, if by any strange chance in the world,
I was to take advantage of you, I give you my permission to find me and ***ch slapp me untill you feel better, lol ;D

I can Relate.
~ I have always been nice people far as long as I can remember ... even til this day.
But just a couple of years back.
Things started happening in my life and I was taught.. and learned to never trust. Well, not trust easily that is.
And it has effected my life in both positive and neagtive ways.
So all together... BEAUTIFUL POEM AND IT IS VERY TRUE!!!!!!!! :)

Thank you for the kind words lol I Completly understand that iv been through Alot myself. Btw I just gone done reading a poem of yours lol I'll comment later tonight when I have more free time. But it was really good. Oh and we share a birthday Expt I'm 2 years older lol. Cancers rock. :)

this is so true. i feel like too many people (including my self) give out their trust automatically and then go to find out that they should never have trusted that person.
