To my other parents.

Since the day you met me, almost 4 years ago,
You took me in, and treated me like your own.

Your daughter brought me home,
and you guys took me in.
Arms wide open, and hearts where to.

Accepting me for who i was,and for listening,loving,
,caring and protecting me.

Teaching, healing, showing, and holding,
me through it all.

Laughing, teasing, and punishing me too,
are alll of the things, I love about you.

For giving me something that i didnt have,
a home, a family, and a real mom and dad.

For lettting me stay countless nights,
getting me out of trubble, and not saying goodbye,
for dealing with my problems, and so many tears,
you guys where there, to help comfort my fears.

Letting me inside, the night i ran away,
for holding me tight, till the pain eased away,
for all the tissues passed my way, and for all the times,
you kept me straight.
Taking care of me, when i was sick, giving me medicine,
and letting me rest.

For all the times you dragged me along,
to family things, it all ment so much to me.
For all of the times, you included me,
like decorating the christmas tree, chores, and lecturings.
For talking about my grades, and lecturing me too, and telling me,
I know what I must do.

For encourageing me to be, the best I can be,
for taking such wonderfull care of me,
for helping me through the rough patchs in life,
for treating me like another one of the kids,
for being such good people, and believing in me,
But most of all, for being another set of parents to me.

Thank you so much momma, and daddy. For everything that you have done over the last 4 years,
ill never forget any of them, and ill treaure them forever. And keep them inside my heart, for always.
You'll never know, just how much it ment to me, that I had you guys, standing there beside me.
:) I love you guys with all of my heart, and always will.
