I call her mommy, but shes my best friend.
she isnt my mother, yet she acts like she is.
She protects me, like a mother bear, and a cub.
She watchs me, like my lifes at stake.
She lectures me when i make mistackes.
She strikes me, like a hammer hitting a nail.
She tells me to do well, when i have a test that day.
She tutors me, when im in danger of failing.
She pulls my shirt down, when its too short.
She yells when my pants are too low cut.
She remembers my birthday, and spends it with me.
She listens, for hours, when i need to talk.
She holds me, when my lifes going astray.
She wipes the tears, and my pain away.
She tells me everything, and i tell her too.
She says dont loose me, cause i need you, and
i know i need her too.
She calls me daughter, i call her mommy,
yet she isnt my mother.
But she acts like she is, and she is my best friend.
Forever.
