The wind stirs up,
Spinning fallen leaves around my feet.
My heart quickens as I look to the sky,
Stormy clouds are gathering.
A rain drop splatters on my nose,
My hair whipping my face.
Eye widening as another drop falls,
This time a tear.
I drop to my knees, screaming,
House doors around me slam.
I clench my fists, visibly shaking.
Alone to face my fear,
Of a natural disaster,
Because noone understands.
