I gave you my heart,

I promised you my soul,

I tried to make it work,

But the lies just took there toll.



I denied the truths,

And refused to listen;

Now I see how much was hidden.



You took my heart,

And ripped it in two,

Put it back together,

Then made it come unglued.



Now I've moved on to someone who cares,

Someone who won't lie,

Someone who'll be there.



Part of me will always love you,

But I finally got sick of feeling used,

I had to move on for sanities sake,

And now what I have made me awake.
