When I knew you had my back and this wasn't a fling

Just friends seemed best till we put it to the test

I kissed you hard that first night right outside by the grill

Things were going great that is until

You stayed in your head thinking all about the past

All the girls that did you wrong and put your heart in that cast

You always blamed me for the things I couldn't change

It was a love hate game that you could never tame

But what's the point in all that if you say I'm your girl

Forget those other bitches cuz I'm not just a girl

I'm more than you knew and you still won't ever know Cuz the drinking never stopped and the fighting was crazy

You're looking her way then asking me to stay

Hope it was worth all you got

That busted lip and that bruise on your hip

I'm looking down at you now to see how far you have fallen

It's a shame to even say i ever called you my man

Don't show your face at my bar cuz you know you'll get banned
