What is this?
A man of innocence
judged by a pigment
behind the bars
For no crime done
no evidence clear
no eye witness
no smoking gun.
What is this?
A man declared
he wasn't near her
he couldn't have been.
His alibi
lost in the pile
of papers scattered
on an old man's desk.
A statement
the media frenzy
a life prolonged
by one appeal?
What is this?
This is justice?
A man of innocence
behind the steel.
wonderful in repeated times... its really an extra ordinary poem with the shortest you did... love this poem and I kept it in my record.. well done with rich thoughtful poem.... soooo great
