I hold in my hands the life of a child

Who once lived inside of me

Now my whole life has changed, it's all been rearanged

And I don't know if I can do this

My decisions affect her, I have to protect her

Who needs me to always be there

No running away, no time to play

Now I'm so confused, why did I light this fuse

If I wasn't sure I could do this?

Now I know, and I'm sure, that I'll be good to her
