We all take for granted, that we won't last forever,
We just shrug it off, say not today, the heel with it, whatever,
Tommorow's getting shorter, my hair is growing grey,
Time feels like it's standing still, i'm counting down the days,
All thats left is borrowed time, I wonder if i'll see,
My grandkids start a family, my children outlive me,
It's not important what mistakes you've made, they'res things we all regret,
It's what you do with what time's left, so don't worry, and don't fret,
So when my time comes to an end, don't shed a tear for me,
take comfort that I loved you all, and my spirit's finally free,
I could be here, i could be there, I could be almost anywhere,
I'm watching when you sleep at night, and in the morning brush your hair,
My body might be a rotting corpse, but my soul's not up for lease,
Grandpa has to go lie down, and rest forever more in peace...
This indeed was a very good collection of words about death. Death is a very hard thing to write about because none of us even want to think about it. It is very painful indeed when we lose someone that we love. Again I want to tell you that you have done a great job here. Keep up the good work. I will in the near future when I have more free time read more of your work. I also hope that you will visit my site and read some of my works. Thanks for sharing. God bless. LUV, ANGEL EVE SMITH
