Contemplating Darkness

Lying in a corner
Paralyzed by touch
A light in the distance
The only sign of life
Growing colder with every day
No amount of light can put this darkness at bay
Infested with nightmares, demons and despair
This seems to be destiny yet feeling unprepared

Hey, just wanted to say that this poem is amazing. I can relate to it. This poem kind of reminds me of drowning.... just the feel of how theres a tiny light in the distance, but you just cant get to it..
but none the less your poem is great.
