Karaoke night down at the bar.



Heart beating fast, no-where to go,

the music starts, the lyrics show



My tone isn't right, my melody's off.



"Can I recover from from this horrible start"

"everyone will see I can't sing the part"



American Soldier roars out to the crowd.



Slowly I started, but now coming on strong

I'm feeling pumped, what could go wrong



I finish the song amazed with myself.



I gaze at the crowd filled with relief,

then someone yells, "you suck singing Toby Keith!"
