Poetry In the rain is where I see you,
With your arms around my face,
In my bed is where I find you,
With a smile fixed in place,
And the world is somehow better,
For the way you have existed,
And my life is now worth living,
For in this fight we have enlisted,
No need to fly away to find you,
For you're right here by my side,
It's my back your hand caresses,
And my lips your kisses find,
My whole life is an open journal,
A story centered around you,
No other characters are necessary,
To make content this love-struck fool,
Every step and every breath I take,
Is in vision of our nights,
Between the cotton sheets I wait,
Until you are in my sight,
And as you lay your head by mine,
My heart beats in anticipation,
I sigh, as you tightly hold me;
There are no complications.
