This is my love; broken and battered,

This is my love; chained and bound,

This is my love; buried deep within me,

This is my love; never to be found.



This is my trust; shattered and lost,

This is my trust; incomplete and torn,

This is my trust; exposed and beaten,

This is my trust; the object of your scorn.



This is my hope; given up and defeated,

This is my hope; forced out in despair,

This is my hope; the focus of your hatred,

This is my hope; gone, you don't even care.



This is my freedom; stripped, never cleansed,

This is my freedom; never to be known,

This is my freedom; fought for and lost,

This is my freedom; bowed before your "throne".



This is my honor; ignored and turned out,

This is my honor; forgotten and cold,

This is my honor; betrayed and left behind,

This is my honor; and me, you'll never again hold.
