An emptiness,
Tearing at me,
A void of blackness,
That I wasn’t meant to see,
But I have,
And now I know,
I’m in this grasp,
That won’t let me go,
It will take a long time,
For me to heal,
To love and understand,
Does anyone know how I feel?
A deepness,
Pulling me in,
A dangerous chance,
I know I’ll never win,
A crazy world,
Spinning around,
Tossing and turning,
Until we fall down,
A wild adventure,
A tale to be told,
Children are born,
We all grow old,
Life is confusing,
I’m beginning to learn,
We all need help,
We must all take a turn,
Alive or dead,
Empty or full,
I know I must follow,
The Golden Rule,
I’ve learned to take,
Life as it goes,
Time moves slowly,
The tide ebbs and flows,
The world that I live in,
Has been molded and made,
To fill all my needs,
And provide me with shade,
I’ve bridged the gap,
I’ve found my way out,
Of these terrible clutches,
I have no doubt,
I’ll find out how,
To live in peace,
And not in this blackness,
Love will never cease.
