i know you said you didn't need me

that you were better off alone

but that didn't mean anything to me

because I did need you



and i know you told me you couldn't handle a gf

even if it raised your self esteem

but that didn't matter to me

i loved you



i only really ever asked you for one thing

and that was that you care

i didn't mind if it wasn't love

i just wanted someone to confide in

i was tired of being alone



i tried to give you everything i had in me

you didn't need to ask

it was just there, of my own free will



i know you didn't give me everything in you

you weren't capable of that

but it was enough



i just wanted someone to give all my love to

so it wasn't wasted

just sitting inside me



and you were the perfect person

i gave it all to you.
