I just can't do it anymore,
Can't numb the pain now,
Not anymore than before,
Can't harness the anger,
Or destroy the dreams,
Can't harbor these feelings,
No matter how strong I seem,
Can't silence the voices,
Or quench the thirst,
Can't destroy the pain,
No more than at first,
I can't express what I feel,
Even though it's important,
Can't pretend not to love you,
Please understand, I can't cant.
