How many times can you drive me to the edge?

How many times can you push me to the brink?

How many times can you make my heart break?

How many times before you stop and think?

How many times will you hold me,

And then just push me away?

How many times will you hurt me,

Then tell me you love me the next day?

How many times will you lie to me,

And then swear you told the truth?

How many times will you tell me it's okay,

And take advantage of my youth?

How many times can you defy me?

And yet tell me you obeyed?

How many times will you tell me you're serious,

Then act like it's all just play?

How many promises will you make me,

That you don't intend to keep?

How many times will you be so cold,

And just let me sit there and weep?

How many times will I let you?

How many times 'til I see what's in store?

How many times 'til I make it stop?

How many 'til I say "no more"?
