You can be perfectly you

I promise not to judge,

don't let anyone change who you are

my dear don't you budge.

Cause no matter what they say

someone loves your version of you

and just because others detest it

you don't have to change what you do.

I want you to know you're beautiful

whether your straight or gay.

You are beautiful, yes you

no matter what they say.

You can be a man on the outside

and believe your a woman within

You can be a person who cuts.

who tried too hard to just fit in.

Everyday we're alive, is wonderful,

but we're insecure, they call us names.

Try to tell us not to be who we really are

and try to make us ashamed.

But you are beautiful anyway,

In the true-est shade of you.

Don't let them judge who you are.

don't allow them to make you blue.

You are beautiful, I am beautiful

just the way that we are.

Don't let anyone bring you down,

Because you shine like a star.

You can be overweight or too skinny,

and people may point and laugh.

Not caring whether they hurt you

or about the coming aftermath.

Don't let them knock your spirits

don't let them knock you down.

And if you decide you just can't stand

I'll be there to help you off the ground.
