I stand alone in a dark field
Surrounded by nothing
but Dandelions
They flare around me
like a poodle skirt
on a young woman's body.
I spin myself around
Searching...
For someone else to share
this beauty with.
But for miles and miles stretches nothing
But dandelions.
I pluck one a make a wish
and another grows back
in its vacant place.
I wished for a never ending chocolate fountain
On another I wished for
A diamond bigger than my head.
I wished for all things imaginable.
Even the fountain of youth.
And excited as I was....
I couldn't forget one thing
I had left to wish for...
I wished I weren't alone.
Freakin dandelions. Once that
Freakin dandelions. Once that white poof blows, the seeds are planted everywhere and more nd more dandelions grow. ;)
