A Winters Night
The snow flakes falling at evenings light end,
As I sit and watch the white beauty spread across the ground.
I look over at my true delight.
Her smile brings light,
Her heart brings warmth.
No matter how frightfull the weather might be, My heart and soul will be kept warm and in delight.
From the first waking moment, the the nights end,
No matter the weather, she will always fill my heart with warmth.
As the snowy night takes its toll, I glance over and she is no longer there.
But her memory will remain, keeping me warm on a cold winter's night.
