Do I have to ryme
Do I have to rhyme???
Because I never learned
how to turn
that clever phrase.
The rhythm of rhyme
escapes my mind
my brain refuses to work
And just to show
my talent won't grow
it took me an hour
to write these few lines
hehe this one's really neat. I wont say something terribly clever like you dont have to rhyme to create nice art now....but...well writings have to be like music...they simply need that special something and hey...dante also refused to rhyme ;)
Every now and then I read a simple poem that has the feeling of words that not neccesarily rhyme, but go together and dance with each other. This affect has been succesfully portraid in this wonderful, and simple poem.
why do you need to rhyme? if you want to, just give it time poetry is a language for the soul one that knows no barrier so if rhyme is what you want, practice and make it a goal if not just remember my dear poetry is a language for the soul one that knows no barrier nice work, this is better than some of the ryhmes that i've read before, your efforts are shown... ...but practice and we'll see what the fruits of your efforts will reap... ...keep up the good work!
