How could I ignore what was in store,

You were hurting me in my hearts core.



If I stared, I would have known what your eyes read,

But I turned away, listening to what you said.



It scared me how I knew your feelings before you,

And you had wondered what I was going through.



If there was any respectful thing left with us,

It had always turned into sightless lust.



Countless times I had been told to stay away,

But you gave me the strength to walk away.



Hopefully you will learn to understand,

Girls aren’t toys that take commands.
