with disease

Their souls are no longer
theirs
Their hearts are
black
They have no life
and cannot be
Lying in their graves,
lying through their teeth
A forked tongue,
hissing like a snake
Eyes with nothing
behind them
Eyes that cannot see the
light
Hearts that cannot believe
