Back to You

Folder:
Other

You left me for dead on the side of the road

You never wanted to see me again

But I picked myself up

And made my way back to you

You threw me away

Buried beneath the rubbage of the years

But I dug myself out

And I made my way back to you

You sold me online for $12.95

Shipped me to a man in Taiwan

But I escaped his obsession

And made my way back to you

You gave me to a little girl

Sent her off with a wave and a smile

But she left me at the park

And I made my way back to you.

You set me afire

Then tossed me into the river

But I crawled out of its murky depths

And made my way back to you

You finally gave up

So now I'm back upon your shelf

With my charred dress and staring glass eyes

I made my way back to you
