Miss Who You Was

The missed time, the misuse, all my mistakes and I still miss you, I miss then, I miss us, I wish I knew then feelings was never going to be enough. I still love the person you no longer are, a miss placed look in your eyes tell me your not her, I touch your skin, kiss your lips, your not the same person and I'm not even sure I knew you then. I miss our time, I miss our misuse, with all our faults I'd still fight for you. . . you and god both know I never stopped trying too. Who you was made the world a better place but I changed that, who you was trusted in love but I changed that too, who you are was the reason you came back but I can't let you. . . You and god knows I want too. . . I still miss you, who you was.
