I never did see her cry, she told me I was everything she ever wanted, in the end we both just wanted to say goodbye, she was so fucking beautiful, a goddess on the outside
I can't stop saying "what if" what if I had, what if all it took was one word, looking back its no surprise I wanted her so bad it hurt, I didn't know myself, but I didn't second guess the heart I was eager to let her hold
She was an angel lusting for love games, I was a demon hoping she would share her wings
But we didn't know love made us one and the same from two different worlds and a love like holding a candle in the rain
One story that two lovers writ, an angel and a demon one took a fall and the other took a hit it was no surprise that one fucking quit, how could they not see, blinded by a love so beautiful that both where left asking was it me
I can still hear her say "letting you go hurts worse then the deepest cut you ever left. I'm not letting you go because you're gone, I'm letting you go because I'm the only one still holding on."
