I wish he'd say I love you
When I feel it
I wish he'd say be mine baby
When I need it
I wish our feelings collided
Stronger than they do
I'm scared
I scared to say it too.

 

The truth be known
I say it often
Truth has shown
Its on my lips daily
I wish our feelings reverberated
Stronger than they do
I'm lost
I'm lost at what to do.

 

Its up to me
It's always up to me
He says:
Do whats best for you
I'll go with what you decide
I don't think I'm what you need
I can't be that for you
I'll disapoint you
You'll hate me in the end...
You've got to decide.

 

I wish he'd say I love you
More than he does
I wish it wasn't a romantic notion
Spoiled by my wishes
But can't he hear my need
Can't he see it in my eyes
Feel it over the wire
Just a simple thing I need
To help me decide.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

He says he loves me. He says I distract him. But he says what I am asking of him is beyond his powers...now.  Are they beyond mine as well...is what I am asking for truly what I want?  Or is it just, I love you, dear, I love you, is all I need to hear.

Feelings do need to collide for love to be mutual.
People like us feel deeply and speak of love freely with it's presence. We are unique. Most people feel love but are unable to to profess it. That is when our "knowing" will tell us the other love's us.
You are a wellspring of creative artistry. Your pen must melt in your fingers.
