You were this guy so down to earth
laughing was what time was about
any kind of conversation
was no hesitation of what was felt
was that real?
let me take this breath in
ima never feel for anyone else ever again
was that real?
that summer that we seperated
found our way back to what we had
you said there was no other
was that real?
the time at the park when we kissed behind the shack
and wanted to see how long we could go
was that real?
the moment you said "never will I leave you"
and now I see your back to me
is that real?
you call and say pleasant things
like you miss me
is that real?
the part when you said you still wanted me
you want to be the one who makes me happy
is that real?
when you said "i love you"
but then you talk to my
best friend behind my back
are you for real?
I give you a break and open up
but when I did I just got cut
are you for real?
now you linger like dew
only to be dried up when
the truth burns brightly
and I begin to miss what was
looking at what is.... being heartbroken
missing the you that doesnt seem true
I miss your smile
the way we joked
I miss the times it seemed like you understood
I miss your deceit
its what made me fall for you
