Loyalty, Duty, & Honor

Lost in a land so far from home
Out of the reach of familiar things.
Yet, among all this foreign landscape
Around me I look
Leaning upon all those who are there.
Trying to hold my ground
Yet being pushed by forces unknown.

During the struggle
Unaware of the odds
Together with brothers and sisters
Yet still feeling lost.

Home is so far away
One could never understand
Nor could they imagine
Our duty to our land.
Ready for the battle I am.

Loyalty, Duty, & Honor
I fight for my home.
I fight for the freedoms
Of the people I know.
Though they may not agree
They may say I'm wrong,
I'm an american soldier
and I'm where I belong!
