With your mouth open.
It’s more than you can bare
But life goes on.
It’s true that people prepare for disaster,
But they also build for their achievements
Life isn’t just constant damage control.
It’s possible you could enjoy life but
First you have to imagine it
Even when that’s counter to the
Thoughts swimming in your head.
There are possibilities all around you,
Stop and savor your surroundings and
You’ll find them, and if you let them
They’ll help you and the days won’t
Feel pointless and cruel, you may
Even find that you’re as ambitious,
Hopeful, and dreamy eyed as
That young kid you use to be.

so much optimism - we need that now. Unwinding from isolation - it is hard - everyone is pissed off. Back to office will be interesting. We watch. ;D
