If History taught me
Anything, it’s that Religion
Kills more then it saves.
Extremists! Yelling
On both sides.
And I’m hoping that
They make up just
A sliver of whose
These people really are.
How long has this
Been going on? Since
The birth of Christianity,
Or more likely longer
Under a different name.
The theme though is
Consistent, covert them
Or Kill them. Christians
Invade the Holy Land,
Muslims invade Europe,
Terrorist attack America,
America attacks Terrorist.
Centuries have passed. The
People have changed, the
Religions have shifted, the
Technology has advanced, but
The result is still Death.
I pray, that Jesus
And Muhammad are
Both shaking their
Heads at their children.
When the next attack
Comes, from either side,
Wherever it is struck,
And blood is spilt
Don’t ask why,
Know that Humanity
Has wanted it this
Way for far too long.
