dance around in the heart
Visions of one dancer where once were two
after love has fallen apart
The music melody is familiar
as it plays our song
the lone dancer has trouble with the steps
now that he dances alone
The rhythms of visions
one sees ever so clear
always constant reminders
of loves echoes, so close
and so near
Now, as loves dance is winding down
time of remembrance again comes around
the dancer seeing the visions, hearing the rhythms
he doesn't want to see
tries to make himself awake
an effort in futility...
