Come with me, run with me

Come with me, run with me

Across the splendored grass

Hold my hand, feel my warmth

Free we run on the happiness path

Come with me, run with me

We’ll visit the shining stars

Come with me, run with me

We’ll touch Venus and Mars

Come with me, run with me

We’ll travel to the moon

Which beckons our songs enchanted music

Calls out for our hearts tune

Come with me, run with me

Let us circle the universe

Come with me, run with me

The earth we will traverse

Come with me, run with me

We’ll knock on heavens door

Come with me, run with me

Together in bliss, we’ll seal our pact with a kiss

‘Til we can run no more

This is a very nice poem.......it has a refreshing tone to it. I do feel the flow a bit choppy in parts and a couple of the rhymes seem a little forced, but all in all this is a very nice poem!

This is an inviting and lyrical poem. Happy thoughts. Thanks for posting on Postpoems.
