mood intensifying only
to keep the sun from dying
overnight light rays burst between
the seems of resistance and become willing
and the clouds, they cover and they
move and they hover
only for me, particularly
drying up the seas involuntarily

rain begins to imitate arrows
piercing the sky wherever the wind blows
they finally land with the best intent
of making the earth come alive to defend
an electrical whirlwind of future endeavors
begin to rewrite all the parts of a savior
time no longer on our side
when the present of past is denied

absence of faith in devotion
will drown us like waves in the ocean
allowing our eyes and our hearts to deceive
will plague us like the uncertainty of disease

i lay and wait
for mother natures dying day
being not afraid
of the choices i have made
