For far too long I took comfort in your lies; entrapped in

Your trance at the slightest glance in your eyes. Your

Beauty was blinding, kisses were binding, while my soul

Was constantly grinding against my flesh. Your enchanting

Lies had me serve up my pride on a platter for you. Feeding

You spoonful after spoonful like it was your favorite gourmet

Dish. Responding to your feigned pleads, I played into the hands

Of your untamed greed. With no contrition manipulation rolled

Off your tongue with such ease it became your idiolect. I only aimed

To please, but my efforts were futile. Like a foolish child your personality

Became a mercurial bundle of emotions. Changing as soon as you

Caught wind of the slightest commotion. Your enchanting lies had

Me shut down my mind. I was ignorant to your acescence and bitterness

Like newly birthed wine. The girth of your maliciousness would shock

The devil himself. Only obsessed with yourself never could love

Grab you. You were as heartless as the man with the tin shell.

Your enchanting lies became your truth. You were as dark as the

Universe exploding to take root. The black widow they called you;

A name you so deply cherished. But in the end, it was your name that

Caused you to perish. Yes in the end it was your fame that caused your

Passing. In the end it was your sin that kindled a flame so everlasting. No

in the end it was the lies so enchanting that your esse was ended. But in the

End, it was I who mourned your death not your kindred.
