The flowers were beautiful in the Kings garden
To which the Invincible Knight was drawn
He had admired a certain feature
The fairest of the great lawn
One special parcel of interest
Curiosity of his too pose
A beautiful iridescent purple, red, blue
The most incredible rose.
The Knight had fallen in Love
With the exclusive sight
He enjoyed the orra
Of its dazzling iconic light.
The proclamation was at risk
Thy majesty had foretold
No one could look upon the flower
Tis only the King’s to behold.
The Knight could not resist
This love he had for the beauty
The rose, she seemed to crane
While performing his guard duties
The time passed slowly
As their relationship blossomed
It had been thirty years
Before he proceeded without caution.
Alas the culprit must be found
The perpetrator had to be taught
The sentence was read
The Knight had been caught.
His lifeless body soon to be provided
One last request was made
The Knight’s final ashes
Spread amongst the flowers fray.
Though it all seems to an end
It was what he had always wanted
To be one with the rose
In the King’s Rose Garden.
