The Weeping Tree

As I softly cry under the willow tree,

my tears fall in vain.

No one weeps with me,

as I softly cry under the willow tree.

No future can I see,

for so long I have sadly lain.

As I softly cry under the willow tree,

my tears fall in vain.

If there was a dream

I did not dream,

If there was a scream

I did not scream,

I do not remember.

If there was a pain

I did not feel,

If there was a cut,

I did not heal,

I do not remember.

If there was a cry

I did not cry,

If there was a reason

I did not die,

I do not remember
