How could you turn away

I'd be right here to stay

I still do not understand why

Why it has to be this way



Ready to hold you in my arms

I just want to hold you close

But it hurts so much

Oh man it just hurts so much



And I try to sort out these thoughts

That are tormenting my mind

An endless wave of emotion

I just wished I could let go



Cuz everytime I'm around you

A smile beams across my face

And when I'm around you

Inside pain goes away



And I couldn't wait till my shift was done

Inside I was excited that we could hang around



And I hear of all the people you like

The guy that is on your mind

I wished someone would think of me

Am I ever on your mind?



It hurts so much



I would show you what you deserved

I just wished you could let me in

Man what I would do to show my appreciation

Inside I'm filled with anticipation

Can you just let me in

Let me show you the way you should be treated
