Drifting rough waters, abandoned of hope
Caught by a storm, set adrift out to float
Violently tossed in a sea of white soap
Seeking a shoreline, just me and my boat
Skies opened up with a treacherous rain
Wind ripped the sail, with nothing to gain
Paddled through waves, till my hands were stained
My fate with the sea, was all that remained
Morning came, as nature had planned
The sea settled down, after making demands
Friends don't always, return from the sea,
And there on the shore, was my boat, without me.
