Alan Richard S., beloved husband, father, brother, family man, and friend, passed away comfortably on December 10th, 2021 at the age of 67.
Alan was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 20th, 1954 to parents Virgil and Barbara S. He worked as an Automotive Technician for the majority of his working career and had a passion for American muscle cars. This passion spilled over to his hobbies, where he built and collected replica model cars, trailers, trains, and the like for decades.
An avid outdoorsman, 'Papa' Al loved taking the family hiking, camping, fishing, site-seeing, bicycling, or even simply walking down the beach on vacation looking for shells or wildlife. He also became a devout Bills and Sabres fan; attending many games and events over the years, passing along his love for sports to everybody he knew.
Alan was a loyal, tough, determined, and incredibly selfless man. Even in recent years with declining health, Alan made it a focus to provide kindness and generosity to his family and friends. He always made the efforts to make sure others were safe, comfortable, and happy long before he concerned himself and his best interests. His sense of humor, too, was unrivaled, and often made others gravitate to his genuine personality.
Alan is survived by his wife Darlene, his daughter Chassyn (and grandsons Riley and Bentley), his son (in-law) Chad, his son (deepblue), his sister Penny, his brother Gary, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, extended family, and close friends.

He sounds righteous, a mold breaker, dedicated to humans, a peaceful man. You are blessed to have had him as a dad. God bless you all.
