Silently within

As I kiss your skin

I just want to yell out

Just how much I love you

I want to do something to prove

How much I love you

To show you that I will always be there

TO show I'll never leave your side

To show you that your my life, my joy, my pride

Every time you walk by

You always seem to catch my eye

Not a second goes by

Where I'm not thinking of you

You and me together

You and me happy in this world

Just like a perfect dream

But that's all it will ever be

Just a dream

Because you don't even notice me

Everyday I think what it would be like

To hold you in my arms

To have you in my life

To get married to you

To be able to say

I have my true love as my wife

But then I think twice

Think about how you never seem to see me

How I say hi

And yet you walk on by

No matter how much I try

I can never catch your eye

I am nothing

I am no one to you

There is nothing I can do to prove

That I am worth a second of your time

So as time goes by

I'll go on

Go on and pay attention to you

Until I waste away

Till my dieing day

I will go on and pray

That you'll notice me one day

Maybe when I'm finally gone

When I've turned to sand

You'll take me by the hand

And finally notice me

Now that I'm no longer there
