When you stare at me
i feel it in my soul
i'm floating in Heaven
At that brief moment in time
You don't smile enough
Though you should never stop
You know how much i love you
For you, i think God
All your little things
That make me smile inside
i shouldn't have to show it
It happens where it counts
i couldn't live without you
Physically i could
But emotionally i'd be dead
A hollow walking soul
i'm in a contest
for the world's greatest prize
Just a single second
When you look into my eyes
I wish I would have written those last four lines.
