Next time you call me direct I get your phone number
we text once and awhile and start going on break together
you convince me i'm worth it ,  i start working out on a daily basis.
i change my eating habbits and drink only on the weekends
And then you tell me you want to be with me.
i meet your family and we go to church on sundays
i hold your hand in front of your friends
everyone gossips at work and we ignore them.
Weeks turn into months and we are happy .
i am healthy
i am about to turn 30

I can only describe this as a waking dream because i cant sleep.
I havnt drank in two days_THIS_ is what hope does to me
now that I'm failing to cope properly i push my arm to the back of his mail box
leaving him the twenty he leaves the bag in my glove box.
and_i_begin_to_fall_apart,
close quarters combat between myself and the dark
leaves me using a sawed off pen case as life support.
