Once I asked a Politician
A question about the truth
I'm sure he didn't lie to me
Although I have no proof

"Are you sure" I asked him
And this is what he said
"I'd never lie to you Sir,
With that gun against my head"

So unless you've got them covered
Don't heed a thing they say
For they will always lie to you
It's the politicians way.
