I can imagine how you feel,
It's funny how lost we get when we lose someone,
I'm sure by now you've taken many long looks in the mirror,
Wondering where the good things have gone,
I'm not in your shoes but I know how it feels,
And I can tell you it's not how you may think,
If you can look in the mirror every other day and see nothing wrong,
What makes today any different?
This is one trip you don't want to take,
I see your ticket says 'One way to Guilt',
I don't think you'll like it there,
I never liked trips to places without solid grounds,
I can imagine how you feel,
One minute you're on top of the world,
The next you feel more like Atlas,
The weight of a heavy broken heart on your shoulders,
Take charge and take notice I beg you,
Everyone's entitled to a choice so, so are you,
Sot hings got a little topsy-turvy,
They would have made a better choice if they only knew,
This is one trip you don't want to take,
I see your ticket says 'One way to Guilt',
I don't think you'll like it there,
I never liked trips to places without solid grounds,
I'd rather move on.
I really like this one out of the few of your poems I have read. I like the repetiton, and the idea of the ticket.Well done xxsmilexx :-D
