Throb-bing, THROB-bing,
A deafening heartbeat in my head,
Some pains are negligible,
Others, tolerable,
This one must be the unbearble kind,
Always there when I least expect it,
Hues dampen in my vision,
Like a broken dimmer,
Quick flickers like a short in the wire,
I wish it would stop,
I wish I could sleep peacefully,
The tylenol is too far away to think about,
Suddenly I wish I had bought a bedside table.
This is a really good poem, I especially like the title.
