I'll pour my love into this,

You and I can work,

Just be gentle,

And give me your heart,

My heart can break,

And so can yours,

But not on my watch,

Like a sentinel I'll guard it,

No foe,

Nor bad thing,

Will hurt you,

And if something should slip by,

I'll be more sorrowful than you,

I'll help heal your heart,

Then I'll return to my post,

Do what you want with my heart,

I ask for love,

And company,

If mine should break,

I know how to fix it,

Your help would be wonderful.
