I stand beneath the willow grove
And watch the sunlight play through the leaves
I lay in the sandy cove
And listen to the gentle lapping of the waves
I sit on the park bench
Bask in the Sun’s heat, feel my soothing heartbeat
I feel the oak tree’s bark
I know its age; it sends shivers to my feet
I stop and smell the roses
My brain is pleasured by the smell
With all the majesty God discloses,
Why risk Hell?
You are seriously so good at
You are seriously so good at depicting settings in your poems.
