I sit and I see
I sit and I see
A once strong tree.
No longer blooming
No more growing.
Corrupt the vines
Of hate and lies
And slowly it dies.
I sit and I see
A dark gray sea.
Its waters churning,
The storm brewing.
As the ark sails on
Testing the sea till dawn
In a timeless dance.
I sit and I see
An ember at my feet.
One gust to set it growing
One gust to set cooling.
One gust to set it free
One gust to make it history.
I sit and I see
A polished thing
And in it I see me.
Nice
