ever heard a song on the radio and have to turn away so nobody can see it still brings tears to your eyes 
I don't care what they say 
Love doesn't die easy 
whiskey burns an numbs the pain
but it never goes away
I heard the promises of tomorrow in some far away place
where the phoenix rises out of flickering flames 
the words of another false prophet
the day's go by gluing themselves collectively
adhering like damp leaves to my memory..
all the yesterdays won't make one tomorrow
tomorrow will make it one day more distant 
but Love doesn't die easy
